Ordering Information

Onion
Onions have been grown since before recorded history and are still grown worldwide, including in the United States. Onions are popular everywhere and are used as both a condiment and a vegetable in almost any savory food. Fresh onions are pungent and have a sharp bite. Cooked onions lose this heat and develop a rich sweetness instead. Onions can be used for just about anything that isn’t sweet. Onions are perfect with meats, poultry, soups, salads and stews. Dried onions release flavor faster than freshly chopped onions when added to a recipe.
